Company Overview
India is a huge draw for expats from all over the globe looking at augmenting their career path, learning from and contributing to an economy that is growing exponentially by the day.

ReloIndia specialises in easing their path into a country that is culturally diverse across all aspects of living, working and doing business with Indians, and hence complex to comprehend.

ReloIndia was conceived with a purpose - to present India like it is, through real-life anecdotes that come from 18 plus years of my rich experience in the mobility industry, of working with expats from over a dozen countries, nationalities and cultures.

ReloIndia is a virtual consultancy offering Destination services and Cross-cultural training and coaching, for expats from multi-national organisations, and through global Relocation Management Companies (RMC).

Having worked with global organisations and their expat teams from a wide range of industries that cover automotive, IT, telecom, banking, aviation, FMCG, and even film making, ReloIndia specialises in giving a positively unique and remarkable experience for expats relocating to India. The testimonials earned over the years, from happy clients, will say it all.

I ensure that I am personally present to advice and hand-hold the expat and their family, from day one, starting with a virtual overview of India and a tight focus on the city they are moving to, the housing scenario, the schooling options, the challenges of settling into a new environment and the social and cultural dos and don'ts, even before they arrive into my country.

After they arrive, I am there with them, helping them find a home in their new city, based on their preferences and needs, with an eye on an environment that will enable them to adapt to with ease, guiding them on the schools they have shortlisted, preparing them for settling-in challenges and offering survival tips on health, safety, shopping, recreation, managing domestic help, and addressing the concerns of the trailing spouse, which is the most essential part.

Further, I immerse them into Indian culture through a sit-down training-coaching session over a working day, offering realistic insights that will help them navigate the situations and challenges they are likely to face, and explaining the cultural dimensions that are relevant and applicable in our country.
This is a much-needed, yet much-neglected part of an expat’s journey into India, especially in the first three months of their moving into the new country and being invaded by the new culture.
I strive to make this experience for the new expat and their family, a unique, enjoyable and extremely useful one, because I share insights, often laced with humour, and encourage interactive sessions with discussions on cultural differences that manifest in attitudes and behaviours at work. This prepares them for the real India, like few can.
