3:00 - 4:15 | Shifting Trends: What Moves Employees to Move? Nearly 50% of employees would consider relocating internationally for work. But what factors would lead them to commit? In the first quarter of 2025, 10,574 workers from 19 countries were surveyed on their attitudes about relocating for work. Ipsos conducted the study with the support of ATMA and several other industry members, including CERC, EuRA, and Weichert. The timing is significant, as the polling occurred after Trump’s second inauguration and amid major tariff announcements that altered the global order. In some cases, results are compared to the 2017 pre-COVID study. New questions involve preferences for hybrid and remote work, latest incentives, and DEI policies. Together, we’ll review the survey results and explore what really matters from the employees’ perspective. Attendees will gain valuable insights that will help HR and Talent Mobility policy-makers build attractive programs. ![]() Presenter Sharon E. Michnay President, Relo Network Asia |
